Manta Devi Nowbuth

Dr Manta Nowbuth is a Civil Engineer with more than 30 years in Academia. She is an Associate Professoe at the University of Mauritius and has been National Consultant on water related studies for the IUCN, GWP-Southern Africa and SADC. She is the local coordinator for WaterNet and AUDA-NEPAD, two regional networks. Her research areas include flood, coastal engineering and Disaster Risk reduction. She is one of the researchers for the DR3 project, together with an international team coordinated by the UK partners.
