Kevin Richards

Mr. Kevin Richards is an international thought leader in climate finance, fintech, blockchain and shipping. Mr. Richards is a passionate advocate for implementing sustainable business practices to combat the climate crisis, bringing a sustainability mindset to any role. Mr. Richards is Director for the Bermuda Shipping & Maritime Authority, was the position of Chairperson of the E-Commerce Advisory Board to the Bermuda Government, has held Directorship roles at a number of early-stage Web3 startups and non-profit Boards. Mr. Richards currently serves as the Managing Director of Bermuda Asset Management (BAM), providing non-executive directorship and advisory services to investment funds, family offices, renewable energy, and blue economy businesses. Mr. Richards has a unique, global perspective as a Bermudian who has lived in the US, Canada, and UK, that has strategic insights on how to navigate Bermuda's international business sector to drive growth for clients. Mr. Richards now leverages his local and international network to drive transformational change and growth within organizations and investment portfolios. He has developed a personal and business philosophy grounded in an ethical approach to people and relationships. Mr. Richards was the first student-athlete at Notre Dame to be drafted in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Superdraft and has represented the Bermuda national football (soccer) team in two World Cup campaigns.
