Youth Negotiator, Palau National Climate Change Office
Kenley Kenneth's passion for environmental activism and advocacy has deep roots in his upbringing on the island of Palau, where he was born and raised as a proud Pacific Islander. This passion has propelled him into various impactful roles, including his position as the Youth Coordinator for the 7th Our Ocean Conference. Through his dedication, he has also had the privilege of representing Palau's youth at prominent international events, such as the United Nations Ocean Conference and COP 27. In addition to his environmental work, Kenley's aspirations to serve as a diplomat for the Republic of Palau have driven him to work within the Office of the President. In this capacity, he collaborated closely with Presidential staff, attending and documenting high-level meetings, preparing talking points, and drafting official correspondence. His diverse skill set includes strong writing abilities, confident public speaking, proficiency in both traditional and modern media, and a knack for navigating both Pacific and Western policy realms. Outside of his professional endeavors, Kenley takes pleasure in sharing his country's rich culture and traditions with others. He is also committed to fostering discussions on how to amplify Pacific and indigenous voices on the global stage.
