Elaine Basso

Elaine Basso is an agricultural engineer graduated in “Luis de Queiroz” School of Agriculture –ESALQ/USP (class 1994). She has a proven track record of rural extension experience. Elaine worked for agroindustry companies (pesticides) to study and understand bee mortality cases related to agricultural production. She developed a innovative technology to serve as a bridge for communication between agroindustry and proximity beekeepers, fulfilling a market need to integrate beekeeping into agriculture and preserving pollinators in theirs natural habitat.
